Arora è in grado di funzionare su qualsiasi OS (Linux, embedded Linux, FreeBSD, Mac OS X, Windows) ed è basato su Webkit (il motore di rendering di Google Chrome) e QT4.

Ha un'interfaccia minimalista e leggera che offre la visualizzazione in schede, la gestione della cronologia e un sistema di gestione dei segnalibri.
